The company "Svechny Dvor" will build a production complex in the industrial park "Ishelkovo". At the new enterprise, the company plans to launch the production of candles, soap, aromatic diffusers and cosmetics. The Moscow Region Development Corporation (KRMO) provided assistance in finding a site for the implementation of the investment project.
"The total investment in the project will be about 60 million rubles. Within two years, the company plans to complete the construction of a new enterprise, and in mid-2025 it is already planned to launch the production of the first products. About 80 jobs will be created at the new production facility for residents of Shchelkovo and nearby municipalities," said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
Candle Yard produces diffusers and handmade soap, but the main direction is aromatic and interior candles. The company manufactures products for large cosmetic brands and a network of hypermarkets for the home, which have candles in their assortment, but do not produce them themselves. To date, the company has an operating production facility in Moscow. After the construction of the plant in the industrial park "Ishelkovo" is completed, the company plans to move its entire production to the Moscow region.
Among the vacancies that will be opened at the new enterprise are masters in the manufacture of soap and filling candles, as well as technologists who will test raw materials and work on the formulation of products
"Almost 25 years ago, when we just launched our production, no one made artistic candles. All that was there were either church candles or ordinary candles that were in every house in case the electricity was cut off. We decided to produce candles that would primarily be a decoration, so we began to pay great attention to the design of the candle. We had artists who developed new collections every season. Over time, these sophisticated designer candles ceased to be in demand, laconic, refined candles began to be in demand, and now we are focusing on the composition and unique flavors," says Irina Kramarenko, General Director of the Candle Yard company.
Candles are made from natural ingredients, the main raw materials are soy wax, coconut wax and sunflower wax, as well as professional perfumes. Previously, the company bought them from European manufacturers, now it cooperates with Russian perfumers. It is also planned to purchase equipment for the new enterprise from domestic manufacturers.
"The company produces more than 600 thousand products a year, a new enterprise in the Moscow region will double its capacity. The complex will consist of several workshops, each of which will be divided into zones. For example, four processing lines, a warehouse of raw materials and finished products, as well as a laboratory for testing raw materials and products, developing formulas and new formulations will be installed in the candle production area. In addition, at the new enterprise, the company plans to launch the production of cosmetics - dry perfumes and hand balms on a wax basis. It is also planned to build a production workshop, a warehouse and a laboratory for this direction, in which not only technologists, but also cosmetologists will work," said Vladimir Slipenkin, General Director of the Moscow Region Development Corporation.
